Hisaab Barabar Movie Review: A Disappointing Waste of Potential

So friends, the junk dealers are here, and these people are exchanging their trash. Meaning, J Cinema and Zee5 have come together and are exchanging their garbage movies.

Hisaab Barabar Movie Review

Under this exchange, a J Cinema movie has come to Zee5, called Hisaab Barabar. The star cast is quite impressive.

But is this movie actually good or not? Let’s find out.

Hisaab Barabar Plot Summary

In Hisaab Barabar, you’ll see the story of Radhe Mohan, an honest TC (ticket collector), who wants every account to be absolutely perfect.

One day, there’s an error in his account—a mistake of ₹… sorry, of ₹0.

And after that, all hell breaks loose, and a scam is revealed.

If you’re curious to know what happens, you can check out this movie, which is 1 hour 51 minutes long and available on Zee5.

Now, if I were to sum up the review of Hisaab Barabar in one line, I’d say:

Hisaab Barabar is Jhaant Barabar.

Literally, it’s Jhaant Barabar.

I mean, friends, I haven’t seen such a pathetic movie in recent times. The idea and premise had so much potential, but they ruined it completely.

Literally, they ruined it.

For the first 40-45 minutes, I kept thinking, “Now they’ll get to the main issue. Now they’ll get to the main issue.” But no, they were just fooling around.

The hero comes as a TC, collecting tickets. Then a girl enters his life, and it’s all nana-mataka, gullumullu nonsense.

Half the movie was wasted on this nonsense without even addressing the main issue.

And when they finally got to the issue at the end, I didn’t even feel like spitting on it—it was that bad. The screenplay was awful. The passion behind making the movie was non-existent.

No depth, no sense—just pure nonsense throughout the movie.

When Neil Nitin Mukesh made his entry, oh my god! The length of his career is as short as the shorts he was wearing.

His villain role was so bad, I don’t even have words to describe it. He looked like a fool. There was nothing impressive in his acting either. It felt like he was doing the movie half-heartedly, probably thinking, “Let’s just do it to pay the EMI since no work is coming my way.”

R. Madhavan’s performance, of course, was good. But even his role didn’t add much enjoyment to the movie.

And can you believe it—they made Rashmi a maid?!

And her fake Bihari accent? Oh my god, it messed with my mind, heart, kidneys, liver—basically everything.

And what even was the theme of Hisaab Barabar? Hisaab Barabar? More like Jhaant Barabar, I tell you.

I don’t even understand where all this money is coming from. Instead of wasting it on such garbage, why not donate it to the poor?

The issue was good, but the movie isn’t. I’d give it a 3/10.

On the parental guidelines front, there are no nude scenes, vulgarity, or adult content.

But honestly, it would’ve been better if I hadn’t seen the movie at all.

So friends, this was my review of Hisaab Barabar.

We’ll see you in another post. Have a good day!
